I drove down to Gallatin Tennessee with my kids for the 2017 total solar eclipse. This was one of the pictures that I took with no filters or any alteration on my Nikon P900 point and shoot camera! And unlike other "diamond ring" pictures that I have seen, this one has the appearance of a sparkling diamond and the colors were a surprise and have something to do with the light refraction in the lens.
