Spartina

Tidal spartina grass taking a breath during low tide, exposed to the summer sun. The trails of unnamed critters, stingrays or crabs perhaps, can be seen left in the mud. Oyster rakes, normally hidden beneath the Lowcountry’s murky water, are forced to endure the hot, humid air for a short time. The occasional bird provides the only noise, as a soft coastal breeze blows.
