It is a rare limited time gift of beauty when a full moon backlights the Mokulua Islands in Lanikai, Oahu, Hawaii. This more dramatic photo with the moon bathing the entire Mokuluas aka Twin Islands aka Mokes by the locals, was taken from a home on the steep Lanikai hillside facing the ocean. It was shot at 7:37 pm on October 5th, during a Harvest full Moon that was also a Supermoon, so larger because the moon was closest to the earth! I took it with a Samsung phone and the photo is untouched.
