I'm doing a quarter at Friday Harbor Labs and happened to be walking around after breakfast and noticed the dozens of glistening spider webs around. Heading down to the docks, I searched around for the perfect spider web to photograph, one that had the water and sun behind it. When I found this one, I spent a good deal of time trying to figure out a good angle and getting my phone to focus on the web. I was glad I was able to capture the beauty on my phone, because I haven't seen spider webs like this since that morning.
