This image shows a spider that had made it's web in a hedgerow - a very common site during the summer/autumn months, if you make the effort to look. During my lunch-break I often walk the same route on this narrow, hedge-lined path. What was unusual when I saw this spider, was that it was sitting on the inside of the webb. This provided a "spider-on-face" illusion opportunity that couldn't be missed!
