This is a Spirit Bear. It is one of the rarest subspecies of bear in the world, numbering some 200-400, all of them found in the Great Bear Rainforest on British Columbia's west coast. They are black bears that carry a recessive gene, resulting in the white fur. This one is named Strawberry.
