This female Eagle Owl took up residence in a friends garden in Johannesburg. She hatched 2 chicks - with the help of her partner who was subsequently killed (unfortunately) she then persevered on her own to hunt and feed the chicks - successfully! They are all now well and living in the suburbs - FANTASTIC
