Although springtime in La Jolla is better known for its seal and sea lion pups, I took a break from shooting the marine mammals and sat on a bench to check my settings. When I looked up, I saw this adorable squirrel grasping stems with his hands and eating the blooms. It was a moment that reminded me that sometimes the best photos are in the mundane.
