Troops of squirrel monkeys roam the rainforest on the Osa Peninsula. These monkeys are cautious, but not that afraid of people. I heard them coming from afar, and sat calmly waiting in my chair as they worked their way from tree to tree and eventually came out onto several branches of the tree in front of me. They took their time staring down at me - and hoping for a handout, my host said - while I took my time getting photos of them.
