18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Squirrel Snack
A squirrel snacking on a red berry from a tree. This was taken in February of 2019 at The Denver Botanic Gardens. I walked out of the indoor conservatory and locked eyes with this squirrel. Calmly raised my camera and got several photos.
