St Johns river after Hurricane IAN

This river is usually much smaller. It drains Central Florida North to Jacksonville, then out to sea. The State road 46 is closed and many homes are flooded. This is the highest water ever recorded for this location, two days after Hurricane IAN drenched the state. The opening in the clouds provided a unique halo effect in the deep blue water. Maybe a sign of Heavenly redemption that this flood will pass and all will be well again.
