St. Jude Thaddeus’s and the day of miracles

St. Jude Thaddeus is a Saint of devotion and reverence. Parishioners from all over Mexico come once a year to the Temple of San Hipólito in the Capital City in search of support, healing, hope and future changes. Each faithful carry with him or her a figure of the patron saint for difficult and desperate causes to quit drugs, be released from jail, leave hospital and have good fortune as prostitutes, among many other common or simple causes. Walking on foot, by bus, by bicycle or subway, the Saint – at a human scale or in a smaller version – travels with them in the narrow wagons like one more passenger before the indifference of the other travellers.
