Exploring the night sky. I was in the Himalayas, celebrating my 20th birthday. I was trekking from Kunzum Pass to Chandertal Lake. It took me 4 hours to hike from Kunzum to the first stop. Suddenly, the weather changed and i saw a snow storm approaching. I had to stop and rush back to Kunzum Pass. Fortunately, I got a lift till Batal, the nearest place where stay was possible. I stayed with a local guy at one of the Dhabas. The temperature had fallen to minus 21 Celsius. I noticed that the sky was full of stars as i went out. I crossed the Batal river at night to photograph the milky way and the result was beautiful.
