18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Star Magnolia 2020
Magnolias are poetic in their form and this one certainly demonstrates that. While this is not from my backyard, it is growing next door. I got permission to enter the yard and shoot the lovely bush form magnolia. The cloud covered sky allowed ample time to shoot multiple shots.
