It is nothing less than an adventure for me going to a lonely desolate place that has no restrooms with a bunch of male enthusiastic stargazers. But it's always fun to go to the desert in the middle of the night to take pictures of the star trails. One of the most striking features in the Qatar desert away from the city is the huge expanse of blue sky with very little light competition. The sky glows with numerous stars and we never get tired of watching the light show.
