Staring into the face of El Morado Glacier

The photo was taken during a hike in a mountain range just outside Santiago, Chile. The photo captured my amazement staring into the face of a glacier larger than anything I could have ever imagined. This was an especially intense experience as this photo was taken at an altitude of over 4000 meters where the oxygen is so thin it feels that someone is sitting on your chest. If you look close enough, you can see the glacier in the refection of my eyes.
