Old Faithful erupts under the constantly shifting stars. On a warm late summer night, I sat watching this iconic geyser with just a few others. The rumbling of the various geysers close by, the excited noises from the small audience, and the wisps of steam from Old Faithful set the stage for the photographed eruption. The eruption, which was small and short by Old Faithful standards lit up the foreground and fit perfectly under the trails of stars behind it.
