A pleasant surprise! I visited Djoudj Bird Park in Senegal in November 2008 with not a flamingo in sight. Suddenly this year January 2023, out popped an entire scene of lovely, stately flamingos strutting with heads held high. Other waterfowl bounced about feeding and bathing paying no heed to the show unfolding before them.
