20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Statuary Hall in the Vatican
There are thousands of statues in the Vatican, and I wanted to somehow 'personalize' one. My attempt to do this was by getting in quite close and using an extremely wide lens, and showing the space it now resides in.
