Stealing the meal

During the previous evening in the Masai Mara, I came across a resting pride of two lionesses and three small cubs next to a Hearty Beast carcass. Those lionesses had already eaten and were resting. I had to exit the park as it was getting late. Next day morning I have requested my guide to take me straight to the place where we left the lionesses and their cubs. When we reached the spot, the pride was not there. We decided to wait for some time. The early morning sun light was too good. Suddenly, to our great surprise, a huge male lion walked into our view. He hesitated for a while and then walked straight to the carcass, lifted it and walked away, pulling it all the way in a great hurry. He simply stole the meal of the pride.
