Stellar Nurseries in Sagittarius
This image shows several bright nebulae, concentrated around a relatively small area of the Milky Way, in the constellation of Sagittarius. These concentrations of hot gas and dust, is where stars are born, motivating the title. The long-exposure reveals the subtle structures of gas and dust interacting with bright and hot, young stars, in a beautiful cosmic choreography.
