After flying for over a day from the States to New Zealand, our trip leader let us free after the next morning’s leisurely walk and traditional Maori greeting. But four of us intrepid travelers decided not to rest (like the rest) but instead headed by city bus and tram to the Auckland Zoo. This tortoise was one of the inhabitants. Fly was a bonus.
