Still At It
Transitional periods in history tend to occur suddenly, and in the wake comes unforeseen difficulties, challenges, and unique changes that morph society as we once knew it, into a new era. In our modern context, the pandemic laid bare the many fissures in our society. One in particular still raises polarizing viewpoints - the definition of women's role in society. 100 years after the 19th amendment, women in the United States are still fighting for equality. This Suffragette reflects the historical significance in a modern context, in that, we are still at it.
