I was traveling around the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and came upon a small museum, where I found this frog. This is the area where the endemic Golden Frog was driven to extinction by a fungus transported by a freighter from Asia. I thought this tiny frog was a powerful reminder of the resiliency of the natural world in the face of man-man climate disasters.
