The wetlands in Rio Grande (Southern Brazil) are a paradise for birds. Several species breed during the spring, but it is not common to find nests of the maguari stork. The young black stork was looking up at the adult, when I managed to capture this picture. They could be seen from the side of the road and they were not bothered by cars stopping by the side of this busy road.
