Story of Ganga

Every year thousands of monks and lakhs of people go to 'Ganga Sagar' in West Bengal to take a holy dip which they believe in turn will wash away their sins. First of all the 'Sanyasis' (hermits) come to the makeshift tents in Kolkata, built for the Ganga Sagar goers. From there they go the Gangasagar. I went to the transit camp for documenting their lifestyle. Sanyasis has find this monkey whom she calls Ganga. She is his friend, daughter everything, she is a spark of joy in his tough journey towards moksha.
