I took a break from exploring the Giardini Biennale to find a shaded area where I could enjoy a beer and put a new roll of film in my camera. The couple on the left sat across from me, and soon after, the couple on the right sat down. The left couple's body language immediately changed and ceased conversation. Both parties acted as if the others weren't there.
