Phan Ri Cua is a fishing village in Vietnam. Almost every family in this village supplements its income by weaving straw basket for sale. This is a photo of an old lady weaving straw baskets. The doughnut shaped structures are straw baskets packed end to end – this minimises volume for ease of transportation.
