STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE
Normally when you go to a lake the color of the water is blue. However if you happen to pass by Torrevieja, Spain you will come across this pink lake. And not only is it pink but super salty! Halobacterium (also known as “salt bacterium”) thrive in salty places, as does a micro-algae called Dunaliella salina. These are the two magic ingredients that concoct the lake’s bizarre hue.
