Stray Dog
I was traveling through the Southern Appalachians, and visited a VISTA in the small town of Clairfield, Tennessee, where the only place to get wifi was this community center. The VISTA working there lives in an extremely impoverished area where it's not uncommon to find stray dogs. This one in particular likes to hang around the community center, and is well-known by the locals. She was very friendly and I kept running up to me looking for love. The out of focus aspect of her shows the energy she brought to the site. This photo definitely embodies the small town nature of the location but the large amount of love and affection that is still shown by the community.
