18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Stream at Devil's Bathtub
This was an image I captured along the trail to Old Man's Cave in Hocking Hills State Park, Ohio, at a section known as "The Devil's Bathtub." This was on May 17, 2018. I was leading a group workshop on landscape photography and demonstrating creative angles for capturing this scene by stepping into the middle of the creek, and shooting low and wide.
