Street Band - French Quarter in New Orleans

Walking down Bourbon Street I noticed this street band. What attracted me was the context or sense of place that the image conveys. The instrumentation - tuba, trombone and clarinet is classic New Orleans, hearkening back to the early 20th century. The lead singer was the quintessential "Blues Shouter" - singing with great fire and passion. Even the store behind them which had the classic corner entry of many French Quarter buildings and the "Abita" beer sign in the window could not be mistaken for being part of any other city in America. It all cried out to me "New Orleans!"
