Streets of Gurja Khani

A morning shot of a medieval street in Gurja Khani. Gurja Khani is a predominantly Chhantyal village located in a secluded valley at the foot of Gurja Himal range, separated by mountain passes from the rest of the world, and only accessible on foot. Its isolation has allowed it to preserve total authenticity. While electricity and mobile connection are already available in Gurja Khani, not a single ancient house has so far been replaced with a modern structure.
