I was walking down to see a port in Naples when I saw this street. I stopped in the middle of a crosswalk in order to capture this unique moment when no car was passing by so that the whole street was frozen in time. Italian flags hanging above, facades of Neapolitan buildings glimmering in the background, all soaked in the afternoon sun. You can sense the life happening around you, busy and noisy, and at the same time you feel a huge peace pervading the scene. A perfect definition of what kind of city Naples is.
