This composite photo is from a collection I created for a college class. The collection is meant to represent my chronic illness and how it affects every part of my life. Fibromyalgia can lead to the development of other issues such as mental illness, my anxiety is an example of that. When I am having a particularly bad anxiety episode I sometimes sort of get stuck in a loop, repeating the same phrase over and over again, struggling to get my mind off of whatever is making me so anxious. I try to visually represent this sort of "loop" in this photos.
