Road to Cloud 9 This Thursday morning I was meeting free till 10am. Though the Portland, OR area was being soaked with 6-12in of rain from the atmospheric river, east of the cascade only has mild amount of rainfall. After I looked up the rainfall situation I took the liberty and went to the Rowena Crest Viewpoint early in the morning in pouring rain, praying that the weather forecast was correct. I was very pleased when I got there that there was just a little bit of rain, and I was rewarded with fast moving roaming fog. It was a heavenly experience for me to take the aerial shots of the Rowena Crest View point. I felt that I was on cloud 9!
