18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Subject Lighting
Flying at 34000feet over the Amazonia of Brasil, a few scattered but powerful storms are developing through the night. A moonless sky allows me to capture the storms with relative sharpness while we make our way to our destination.
