The New York City subway at dawn was taken one early morning last winter on my way home from an overnight shift at work. I was attracted to the light of the subway station reflected on the subway car, which looks like the coil inside a lightbulb, as well as the linearity of the subway and the tracks. The photo evokes the feelings of coldness and isolation that may be felt in the largest American city.
