Sulphur wave
A group of hikers at the top of the Brennisteinsalda mountain ("Sulfur wave") shows the scale of this volcano. Layers of sulphur-rich minerals, obsidian, lava and moss rich in colour after rain, paint the rhyolite mountain like a work of art when seeing from above. Landmannalaugar, Iceland.
