This photo was taken this year, in a summer afternoon at the Boston Public Garden, six days before our daughter was born. On this particular day I was feeling very tired and anxious due to the end of the pregnancy and we decided to go to the Public Garden to look at the flowers, an activity that always calms me. Six days later we welcomed Angelica, and like her mother she has a flower-inspired name.
