This photo was taken in Glacier National Park, Montana in June hiking with my husband and sister in law. This was going towards Iceberg Lake with the last mile of the trail covered in deep snow. We had fun playing in the snow, throwing snowballs, and sliding in our shorts and tshirts. Montana happened to have a heat wave the week we were there with highs in the upper 90s and 100s. So the snow was a welcome reprieve from the heat on our roundu trip 9 mile hike. This captures the fun of family traveling in the summer with family.
