I was having breakfast with my sister in the Rockies after hiking when I came across this tree. Although the snow-clad hills with spruce and pine trees showed no sign of summer heat and intense sunshine, there was this single orange/amber tree right in between all that cold. A bird was resting on top of it while another was approaching it. It felt as if those two birds were waiting for Fall now that Summer was out of question to arrive.
