Summer on Walrus Island
Tiny Walrus Island above Hudson's Bay, at 1200 meters by 600 meters, is barren rock where about 1,000 walrus haul out, and where 2 polar bears spend the summer, waiting for sea ice and seal hunting. She subsists on walrus carcasses and the odd fish she can catch.
