Last November, I was sitting on the couch enjoying the peace that is Sunday mornings. My sweet eight year old kitten, Winston, perched himself in his favorite spot on the back of our couch where he could observe his supposed domain outside. The moment was too perfect and so I had to capture it on my phone. This photo has a strange calming effect when I look at it. As if the peacefulness and simplicity of that moment reaches back out to pull me in. It makes me thankful for Fall mornings like this one.
