Sunflower still blooming in an early September frost.

On a crisp September morning I headed into the garden to see what might be interesting to photograph. Crouched low on the ground, I snapped away at the feeding birds. Then my gaze fell on this creamy white sunflower, dipped in frost, and I was touched by how its petals seemed to reach out longingly toward a dying plant.
