Sunflowers at McKee Beshers Wildlife Management Area
An indigo bunting perched a top a sunflower on a hot summer day. Every year in July sunflower fields that are planted in the wildlife management area begin to bloom. The sunflowers draw a variety of birds such as indigo buntings, scarlet tanagers and goldfinches.
