As part of our experiential learning in one of my college classes, we spent a week in Glacier National Park exploring the alpine environments. This particular morning we woke at 5am to get ready and leave camp. It was cold and the air was sharp as we set off on our hike, but the moment we broke through the dark trees, we were greeted with our first glimpse of the beautiful day that was in store.
