My local nature park has been the unfortunate victim of a significant amount of adjacent industrial development, with huge sports and apartment complexes, along with retail centers, being built around, and even on park land. Swathes of trees, bushes, and shrubs have been cleared to make space for these developments; fortunately, however, there remained this patch of forest to catch the misty sunrise one morning, proving that beauty still persists inspire of surrounding ugliness.
