On my way back from a trip to California, we woke up at 4:30 to get this sunrise over Crater Lake. I was was not expecting much since as we drove in everything was socked in clouds. As we drove up, we just rose over the clouds and the lake was just glass, silent, and amazingly stunning. The water was bluer than anything I have ever seen. It was a moment I will never forget. I know its nothing like being there, but I do hope you at least get a taste of what I saw that morning in the photo.
