After spending the night in Mueller Hut, one of the back country huts of New Zealand in Mt Cook National Park, I rose early in the morning with frost covering campers tents and began my ascent up one of the smaller peaks facing Mt Cook for sunrise. I sat and watched the sun rise behind jagged peaks over a layer of clouds. I shared this scene and experience with other viewers who rose to watch the sun rise above the clouds and mountains.
